The SIMtone SNAP zero-touch cloud computing terminals are non- processing, fully stateless devices that allow end users to login to all of their cloud computing services with a single user ID from anywhere.
SNAP Terminals are designed to be zero configuration, hence do not require users to do or know anything about their services or network connection, and instantly deliver access to any cloud service at power on.
SNAP Terminals offer seamless & automatic secure connectivity to SIMtone clouds from office LANs in addition to any home and public internet and wireless access points.
SNAP terminals are 100% stateless, non processing devices that never process, store or manipulate any data or user credential for any service. That’s why they are called terminals. Even during use, they don’t hold any information about the service, the user or her-his data, anywhere.
Built using SIMtone’s SNAP universal cloud client platform, they are designed to provide the full, native user experience created by each computing service hosted in the cloud, such as high-quality MP3 audio and desktop video performance, as well as plug-and-play, native USB support which can be used, for example, to synchronize Apple iPods with PCs in the Cloud, as well as for other printing and storage devices.
SIMple and inexpensive, SNAP Terminals require a minimal fraction of the power normally user by regular computers such as PCs and Thin Clients, to deliver users with full and secure access to their computing environment on demand from any LAN or internet access point, without requiring a computer.
