UNIVERSAL CLOUD TERMINAL
PLATFORM (SNAP)
The SNAP (SIMply No Applications Platform) Universal Cloud-Computing Terminal is a single, zero-touch, very-small-footprint, client software platform that enables access to any SIMtone cloud-computing service on-the-fly and on-demand. It is designed to be hardware-adaptive and to support multiple form factors, motherboards, processors, and subsystems. It requires minimal systems resources -- far less, for example than normally found in today’s consumer devices like cell phones -- and delivers user interaction with any cloud-computing service delivered via the SIMtone. All terminals, appliances or software terminal emulators built around the SNAP platform are zero-maintenance, zero-configuration devices that automatically connect to the SIMtone at power on, and can be used to access multiple different clouds, such as a Windows desktop, a Linux application or a Web service, on-the-fly, with no user intervention at anytime.
